    Frank Ifield’s Wayward Wind was his third no 1 in a row and he was the first British artiste to send three consecutive records to the top.

    Forgot to mention that in February 1979 Prudhoe was experiencing the worst winter weather it was to see until the 2010 freeze. I have a photo of about 18 inches of snow outside the house at that time. It’s strange to see open space where Errington Place is now.
